FEES/INSURANCE
• The fee for individual, couples, or family sessions is $75/hour, unless otherwise agreed upon. The typical session lasts 50-60 minutes. Counseling sessions that extend beyond 60 minutes will be billed at $25/quarter hour. There is an additional charge for assessments, depending upon the specific assessment used for diagnosis. If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24-hour notice, the client will be charged $35 for the missed session.
• The client is ultimately responsible for payment for counseling services at the time services are rendered.
• While I accept some health insurance, I am not on all insurance panels; however, I am in the process of getting on as many insurance panels as possible. Contact your insurance company to see if your counseling session will be covered. Insurance companies generally provide an authorization number and the number of sessions that are covered to you and fax the information to the counselor as a sign of approval.
• A sliding scale fee is available if insurance is not available to you.
• Many companies provide Employee Assistance (EAP) coverage for their employees and families. Check with your Human Resources Department to see if this benefit is applicable to you.
